    Wedding Survey

    1) When was your wedding day?
    December 31st, 2006

    2) What day of the week was it?
    Sunday

    3) Did you get married in a church?
Yes, even though I despise(d) that church and most everyone that attends it

    4) How many in your wedding party?
We had five groomsmen, five bridesmaids, one junior bridesmaid, two flower girls, and one ringbearer

    5) Where was your reception?
    The Rose Room downtown

    6) How many guests were invited to your wedding?
    Around 250

    7) How long did you wait to Tie The Knot after your proposal?
    Four months

    8) Who did you hire as your photographer & videographer?
We didn't "hire" anyone. But Ocea, Aly's now ex, took the photos. And didn't do a very good job, sadly...

    9) Did you have a DJ or a band?
We had David H. perform DJ duties during the ceremony (meaning he pressed "play" and "stop" at all the right places), and a DJ from Rocky Mountain 'n' Roll.

    10) Did your father walk you down the aisle?
Nope. I escorted myself down the aisle.

    11) What color were the bridesmaid dresses & groomsmen vests?
My bridesmaids wore all black, Charity (jr. bridesmaid) wore mostly black with a little bit of white, and my flowergirls wore dresses of equal parts black and white. The groomsmen wore black tailed tuxes with black bowties and black vests.

    12) Who was your Maid Of Honor/Best Man?
Meg was my lovely MOH (and gave a terrific speech at the reception) and Roger was the Best Man (and he also gave a speech, which was pretty funny, seeing as he made us sound penniless, ha ha)

    13) Did you have a Bridal Shower?
No. No one threw me one. That's what happens when you live in sin first, lol....

    14) What type of limo did you get?
We didn't have a limo. We had my Honda Civic (which had been washed for the occasion)

    15) Where did you go for your Bachelorette/Bachelor Party?
It was delightfully low-key and classy. Went to Old Chicago for dinner, then to BCT to watch "Memory of Water," a really great comedy, as a side note. Then went back to Meg's, drank Corona, then went to Aus' house where they were having the Bachelor party and ran around barefoot in the snow. Okay, so maybe that part wasn't so classy, lol...

    16) What type of wedding gown/tux did you two wear?
I wore a very white hourglass-inducing spaghetti-strap chiffon dress with beading in the front cleavage area and on the straps. The straps made a V-shape to join to the back of the dress. It also had a detachable-ish train with a beaded flower to hold it there. Very gorgeous. Aus wore a two-button notch lapel tux with tails, red rose boutineer, black bowtie, and black vest.

    17) How was the weather?
    Cold but clear.

    18) Where did you go on your Honeymoon?
    McCall

    19) What were your favorite parts of your wedding day?
Dancing. Definitely the dancing. That and watching Aus cry while he said his vows. Oh, and the kiss was rocking. Absolutely rocking. Almost made up for all the rest of crap that happened. LOL...

    20) How long have you been married?
    Two years and counting

    YG

This is supposed to be about my senior year in high school...but I didn't really go to "high school" per se. And technically, my "senior" year was sort of spent...in college. I had a senior sememster. In which I went to BSU. So...I'm just going to say that this is about my "high school" years...all threeish of them. In youth group. Because as a homeschooled peon, that's about as close as I can get. Ha!

    15. Can you sing the fight song?
    -We didn't have one

    -We didn't eat lunch together.

    18. What was your school's full name?
    CCV YG

    19. When did you graduate?

-Junior/Senior Banquet, thank you very much. And honestly? Not really...the best part was getting ready with Meg, ha ha.

    23. Do you still talk to the person you went to Prom with?
    -Meg? Absolutely!

    24. Are you planning on going to your next reunion?
-We don't have reunions. Though it would be entertaining if we did. I'd probably speak to like, five people there.

    25. Do you still talk to your friends from high school??
    -Few.
